Sooo...I did a photo shoot with Terry Richardson for Uniqlo today. Terry Richardson is the guy who does all those semi-racy American Apparel ads. Uniqlo is a worldwide brand, but they have an unbearably large store in Soho which sells clothes that look kind of like tricked out American Apparel clothes. I wore a shirt a pancake on it. Who doesn't love pancakes?!

Terry was an extremely nice guy and was interested in all of my tattoos. He had a piece done freehand by Mr. Cartoon on his right arm of a peacock with 'babes' surrounding it which ended up looking like a chicken halfway through his session. His heart sank at this point and just dealt with it and ended up coughing up $1400! He got it covered up by an artist in Brooklyn for $150. Now it looks like (according to him) a big black blob with skulls.

The experience was very cool but the best part of it all was having three fluffy dogs run around me while Slayer was playing via the speakers.

My artist, Tom Yak, who's done 99% of my tattoos, now doesn't work at NY Adorned unfortunately. I have been toying with the idea of going to another artist, but I can't bring myself to it- it sort of feels like I would be cheating on my wife (metaphorically).

The last photograph is of myself and Jhonen Vasquez. He writes and draws scary gothy type comics. After reading his comics for about a decade I finally met him! This is exciting for me because I have a lot of his artwork tattooed on me.

I apologize (again) for the lack of updates. I now have a day job which consumes most of my time. The weather is also incredibly weird in NYC- last week it was an average of 10-15 degrees outside- in turn makes me only want to stay inside. Now it's about 50 degrees this week, this weather makes absolutely no sense. It has taken a tole on me and I've been sick most of this month.

Tonight (Wednesday) there will be a whole episode of LOST (AKA the greatest TV show ever) about Jack and his tattoo that you might have seen on camera all the time for the past three seasons.

Friday- I will be in the show for the Saenai Fall / Winter 2007 line. Saturday & Sunday I will be working at the New Line Cinema booth for 'The Number 23' at the New York Comic Con.

I also stumbled on the film 'The Illustrated Man' while shopping. It looked kind of interesting. Has anybody reading this seen this film?

In Stranger Than Fiction, Ana Pascal (Maggie Gyllenhaal) sports a half sleeve prominently throughout the film.

Also- a lip plate featured in the latest episode of the Simpsons.

Oh and Happy Valentine's Day!

Vice TV has launched, the TV-web version of their magazine. In a segment with David Cross, he talks about his own tattoos- a kosher BBQ pig serving up his own ribs & a New Testament 'God' spanking Hitler.

Vice Do's & Don'ts & Friends = David Cross

Did you watch the Super Bowl and catch this commercial?

A man in a retirement home tries Coke for the first time and also does the following for the first time:

1) Told someone that he loved them secretly.
2) Dove off the high dive.
3) Got 'my crazy life' tattooed across his chest.
4) Ran with the bulls.
5) Rode a motorcycle.

See the ad.

Last night I was invited to the WNBC NYC Blogger Summit (for this blog). I also made the 11 o'clock news on NBC that night!

NBC assembled '130 of the most influential and popular bloggers in the NYC area' to help understand how they could create a better relationship between the bloggers (us) and mainstream media.
